  president trump is definitely a demagogue, a populist, and not a great extemporaneous speaker, just to mention few of his more conspicuous flaws.

  however, i was going along because "it's the economy stupid".

  i live in the sierra nevada foothills of california; a selling point for prospective homeowners in the slightly lower elevation is what is touted in the subject title.

  well, right now we are being blasted by a storm barreling down from canada, with hazardous driving and blizzard conditions in the offing, higher up.. as to fog, this photo offers a rare display of misty conditions over our lake, that after the last major rain storm.

  it reminds me of summer days of my youth on the pacific coast..

  Here in Western NY the first part of this week was mild with temp. In the 40's and 50's last evening after heavy rain all day the temp. dropping it started snowing. Very heavy wet snow with high winds. I don't know how much we have but I am guessing around 6 inches. For a area that is accustom to snow this has kind of gotten every one off guard. Oh well another test to see if my back surgery I had back in September is working.l💪 Lol. CC your picture is beautiful. Take care. Still Totally ADD

  Everything stumbles the Borg. Just before my wife and I left a married couple should not hold hand during a prayer. Because it might stumbles some new comer who may think we are thinking about having sex. Tight pants, holding hands, women wearing pants, tight clothing, pillows and on and on. It's all causes sex according to the cult. But it is alright to talk crazy shit on stage because God is with us. Still Totally ADD

  when i was a young man growing up in the religion, i would try to defend whatever the understanding of a doctrine was.

  i won a lot of arguments based on the idea that i knew better than anyone i was talking to and defended myself admirably.

  (lol)....eventually, i realized i was in a cult but for many years i was a believer and i had faith that the gb knew more that i could understand..

  sparky1. You must be very intelligent to have read those two books between the ages of 5-7. I honestly was trap in the the box of the jw cult since birth I never thought much about the reasonableness of the theology of the wt. But as a child I often wonder how they knew all about the Bible and other religions didn't. I can see now it was all blind trust. But that thinking of them against us was very im bedded in me.   JV I remember in the early 70's during the 15 min. break between public talk and the watchtower study the ones that smoked went behind the 7-11 store next to the KH for a smoke. In a congregation of about 100 at the time I would say 15 to 20 were smoking. Those were the days. Still Totally ADD

  James Mixon I love your illustration of monkeys in the tree. All I could think of was when visiting the zoo every time we past the monkey cages they are always slinging crap and peeing.   Im Writing An Ex-JW Self Help Book

  we all know waking up from the cult and trying to leave is a very scary and life changing experience.

  for many it's traumatic and few find the transition easy.

  we have to deal with families cutting us off entirely or keeping us at arms length at best, lies being told about us by the organization, ex members gossiping about us and finding ourselves in a world very different from what we're prepared for.. for this reason, i've decided to start writing a self-help book informing jws of what to expect when they leave the org.

  P.E. what a great idea you have. I wish you great success on your project. My wife and I since leaving the Borg do teaching classes on backyard wild herbs and gardening. I mention this because we found the KISS method is the best teaching tool to help people understand the subject material. Can't wait to see what you bring out in your future book.
